I thought I would do an acoustic striped down cover of the Weeknd’s “High for this”

I used a 3/4 tenor guitar, just my guitar and my voice

The High Highs from New York City have a nice mixture of folk, american, dream pop( warm Ambiance) all to make a chill laid back indie band perfect for your Finals Study needs!

Going to see Vampire Weekend on April 18th in Pomona !!! :D

I love how funky this band is…yet their vocals are so mellow…it makes me dance in this slow chill hip sways with a little 2 step hahaha

The Royal Concept a Swedish indie rock electronic band, mixes the sounds of Phoenix, Two Door Cienma Club, and elements of the Strokes…and get these wonderful vibrant warm sounds, with bright synthesizer, power kick drums, and clanging guitars.    

They sound a ton like Phoenix even vocally…if you listen to this song and “Gimme Twice” it sounds a lot like their songs of Phoenix’s   “Wolfgang Amadeus” album. 

The atmospheric pop UK band Waylayers mix electronica and indie-rock.

Hear no Lies has a great blend of so many sounds…the lead singer sounds a little like Chris Martin of Colplay and they have some Two Door Cinema Club-ish sounds. 

Trojans by Atlas Genius cover

I decided to do a simple minimalist cover of “Trojans” by Atlas Genius  

I used a ukulele, 3/4 tenor guitar (rhythm and solo), and a snare drum. 

I did a cover of Down By The Water By the Drums…I put some echo on the vocals and tinkering with highs and lows…I put in the bass line with reverb and I added in a solo with delay…let me know what ya think?
